Jody is an actress and singer based in New York City, born and raised in Arlington, VA.  She earned a BA from Harvard, where she starred in a wide variety of productions -- from the musical “Sweet Charity” to David Mamet’s “Oleanna” -- and led the award-winning co-ed a capella group, The Harvard Opportunes, as music director. Jody went on to earn an MFA in Acting from the American Conservatory Theater in San Francisco, where she was nominated for a Princess Grace Award. She has appeared on stage, TV, film, and in several national television commercials, as well as lending her vocal talents to a variety of radio and TV ads. Jody particularly loves developing new plays, and was honored to participate in the New Harmony Project. As a singer, Jody has performed with acclaimed 5-person vocal jazz ensemble West Side 5, and Daniel Zaitchik’s indie band, Blue Bottle Collection. When not on a stage or set, Jody loves teaching and practicing yoga, traveling the world, instagramming said travels (as well as the many wonders and oddities of New York City), and dogs. Oh, and seeking the perfect slice of pizza!
